We are delighted to announce that Gernot Wieland’s film, Bird in Italian is Uccello (2021), has been awarded one of the prizes at the 24th edition of the Festival des Cinémas Différents et Expérimentaux de Paris (FCDEP). 

speaking about the winning films, the Festival’s judging committee commented: “We chose to award films that provoked conversations between us rather than create consensus among the four of us and we took the assignment of awarding five equal awards as an invitation to celebrate accomplished gestures as well as encourage fragile artistic propositions.”
