ELEPHANT X DATEAGLE: Conversations on Birth
Event with Saelia Aparicio. When do human beings begin? From fertile egg to embryo, to corpse, sex is the starting point for a human life. Being born involves going in, moving out, ascending, examining, descending, and rotating inside out. For nine months, our foetus-like figures are enclosed in a silent and motionless environment, like embryos waiting either for birth or for extinction, to form life.
Curated by Martin Mayorga and Vanessa Murrell from DATEAGLE ART, this event coincides with Elephant Magazine’s brand new, birth-themed winter issue.
