From Sunday 6th April to Monday 5th May, Agata Madejska is the artist in residence at ACRE Studios in Berlin-Kreuzberg. A non-profit project space and residency program for artistic research and practice, twice a year ACRE hosts one national and one international artist to carry out their projects in an inclusive and experimental environment.

During her residency Agata will work on her project Where Dreams of Laurels Lie. She will explore themes of post-socialist identity crises, systemic collapse, and feminist perspectives on narratives of ownership.

Agata’s time at ACRE culminates with an exhibition of her work, on display from Thursday 1st to Sunday 4th May, 3-7pm. The private view will be held on Wednesday 30th April, 6-9pm.
